Innovation Portal

The Oxford Academic Health Science Network (Oxford AHSN) Clinical Innovation Adoption (CIA) team identifies the best high impact innovations to be adopted at scale across our region. Candidates have to be ready to go to market and have a strong evidence base. The selection process is led by clinicians and the Clinical Innovation Adoption oversight group. They work through key criteria including improving patient experience and outcomes, safety, alignment to local, regional and national needs and clinical priorities, cost effectiveness and ease of implementation to select innovations for adoption within the Oxford AHSN region.

The Clinical Innovation Adoption programme is overseen by a group chaired by Neil Dardis, Chief Executive of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. This oversight group comprises executives drawn from NHS trusts and universities in the Oxford AHSN region. The programme is accountable to the Oxford AHSN Board.
